Self-opening Scissors
Cutting with traditional scissors requires active use of thumb and fingers in both opening and closing motions. This puts a lot of strain on finger joints during repeated use and can be difficult and sometimes impossible for people with finger or hand disabilities.
The softly spring loaded self-opening handle makes cutting so much easier!
The scissors have precision-made stainless steel blades, are lightweight and
adjusted to cut in any position by a simple squeezing action. Cutting is
facilitated by a comfortable "whole hand grip." Observe that no
distal finger control is required. Pressure is distributed evenly over the
palmar surface, limiting stress on individual joints. Requires no thumb
opposition.
